SKI SAFARI - WHAT TO EXPECT
1°DAY - Arrive in Cortina
Meeting of all participants in the hotel in Cortina in the late afternoon with the guide. We will organize equipment rental, if necessary, followed by a welcome dinner and detailed presentation of the tour and program for the first day of skiing.
2°Day - Ski area Cortina
We'll start our tour on the beautiful slopes of the Tofane, diving into the heart of these mountains with the Freccia nel Cielo and its magnificent trails, some challenging and others more relaxing. But there's one trail that takes our breath away every time we ski it: the legendary "White Vertigo." Thanks to the new facilities, we'll then move on to the 5 Towers, where we can enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing our skiing adventures until the stunning Passo Falzarego. The first day is coming to an end, but it doesn't end here. The evening will be full of surprises and unforgettable moments at our refuge!
3°Day - Ski area Alta Badia
After a hearty breakfast, we'll kick off our day of exploring Val Badia. We'll head towards San Cassiano, reaching it with a short and thrilling horse-drawn ride. We'll navigate through a maze of slopes leading us to La Villa, where the famous Gran Risa awaits us, the challenging and thrilling World Cup slope. It will be an unforgettable experience! We can indulge in the Ladino specialties of these valleys and then ski in total relaxation until we reach the most renowned après-ski in the Dolomites, el Mourin, an unmissable stop on our journey.
4°Day - Ski Area Arabba Marmolada Glacier
Today awaits us a day at high altitude. Thanks to the Punta Rocca lift, we'll reach the summit of Marmolada, the Queen of the Dolomites, towering at 3342 meters (10980 feet) high. This location hosts the last remaining glacier, with well-groomed slopes descending towards Passo Fedaia and Malga Ciapela. Along the way, we'll traverse the slopes of Passo Campolongo and Arabba, including the famous "Porta Vescovo", a long black slope that we'll tackle with great satisfaction. From Marmolada, we'll make a stop at a cozy refuge, where we can relax by the fireplace and enjoy an aperitif before dinner.
5°Day - Ski Area Canazei Val di Fassa
After a delicious breakfast, we'll immerse ourselves in the splendour of the Dolomites as we head towards Passo Pordoi, making our way to the renowned ski area of Canazei, the largest in Val di Fassa. Along the way, we won't be able to resist the temptation to descend into Val Gardena to tackle the famous "Sasslong," the World Cup downhill ski slope. Exploring the two valleys will only be the beginning of our daily wonders before returning to Canazei, all part of the unforgettable Dolomites Luxury Ski Safari.
6°Day - Ski Area Lusia San Pellegrino
From Canazei, we'll take a private taxi transfer to reach Moena for skiing in the Alpe Lusia San Pellegrino ski area. The well-prepared slopes of various difficulties allow for fast, wide turns and challenging runs on the famous "Piavac" and "La Volata," the black runs of this ski area. An enchanting mountain hut awaits us to conclude this day in the Dolomites Luxury Ski Safari.
7°Day - Ski Area Civetta Val di Zoldo
A short ride in a private taxi will take us to Alleghe, where we'll enter the Civetta ski area. Surrounded by a multitude of peaks, we'll ski in the valleys of Alleghe, Selva di Cadore, Zoldo, and Palafavera, rich in history, tradition, heroic feats, and early explorations. The Civetta ski area spans 80 km of slopes with 23 lifts available to ensure a satisfying day. Here, we won't miss skiing the "la Civetta" black slope, not too long but intense. In the afternoon, we'll take a Skibus to Passo Giau, then return to our hotel in Cortina, concluding our tour in the Dolomites Luxury Ski Safari. Greetings from the Guide.
